The latest generation Intel Core i7-13700HX processor performance test results show that its performance is 25% faster than previous generation i7-12700H.

This test was conducted on a 16" i7-13700HX gaming laptop. The increase in performance in multithreading is especially obvious, which is 25% higher than that of i7-12700H, but compared to i9-13900HX and i9-13980HX, it is slightly inferior by 30-35%.

In addition, 13th generation platform consumes more power than previous generation, and performance per watt gain is not as significant. In particular, i7-13700HX consumed about 183W when running Prime95, while MSI Pulse GL76 with i7-12700H processor consumed about 120W.
